Jumping Jack Cactus

jumpingjackcactus.jpg

What at first glance might look like moss are infact millions of cactus needles. You can see the cactus tree in the back ground. The needles are assembled into little spheres of thorns and have hooks. Just slightly touching the tree or any of those loose balls in the foreground causes them to attach to your skin or closing. Sometimes they can even penetrate shoe soles and leather.
