The Kibo huts (4700 meters) are in the lower part of the picture. We would spend the night and get up at 1 am to start the ascend. Kibo has the foulest bathrooms in the world. I could not get myself to enter them. I started violently gagging when I got close. Judging from the hundreds of turds around the huts, I was not alone.
