The Quaternion Sphere

Scattering, Spin, and the Electron from Algebra Alone

Martin Scholl — Independent Researcher — May 2026

Abstract

We begin with quaternion algebra and derive measurable physical quantities without invoking prior physical theory. Three key results emerge: the angular distribution of charged-particle scattering, the magnetic moment of the electron, and the threshold energy for matter–antimatter pair creation. Every result follows from the geometry of the unit quaternion sphere and the arithmetic of octonion multiplication.
